This is the portable side table from our D12 collection, made with a thin 12 mm steel rod -a technical detail that gives the series its name. Its minimal design, composed of lines that jut out in multiple directions, was conceived by architect Marià Castelló.
On its surface, you can rest books or a small tray, so it is a perfect piece to place next to a sofa, an armchair or a lounger. In addition, thanks to its upper handle, it can be easily transported.
Designed by architect Marià Castelló, these pieces came to be as details designed for the Bosc d'en Pep Ferrer project, his own house on the island of Formentera.
A house of minimalist character for which the architect conceived a whole collection of accessories, which also includes two racks, a shelf and a table.
DESIGNER
MARIÀ CASTELLÓ
Marià Castelló studied Architecture in Barcelona at the UPC-ETSAB.
He is originally from Formentera, where he founded his studio after graduating in 2002.
Research and conservation work in this small Balearic island have shaped his professional career, which has included refurbishment and environmental restoration projects, the rehabilitation of old farmhouses. An honest and sublime review of the popular architecture of Formentera from a contemporary perspective. His work has been widely recognized with awards, exhibitions and international publications.
