DESIGNER
CHRISTOFFER MARTENS
Christoffer Martens was born in Bremen in 1975. He trained and worked as a graphic designer before studying product design in Potsdam. In 2008 he moved to Switzerland, where he worked for Alfredo Häberli, one year later he set up his own studio in Berlin. Christoffer Martens designs and develops products for the furniture, lighting, kitchenware and home accessory sectors.
He has been giving courses and workshops in cooperation with the Werkbundarchiv since 2012 at the „Museum der Dinge“. He is also co-initiator of the gallery “erstererster”, which has been initiating design lecture programmes and exhibitions since 2005 in Berlin.
His Siebenschläfer bed, designed for Nils Holger Moormann, was nominated for several accolades including the German Designer Award in 2010.

Reward yourself with a treat, when you’ve completed the simple task of putting together individual components. The rate your dog wags his tail can be taken as an indicator when determining the optimal place for the doggy bed. Don’t bark at your dog, if he only leaves his bed under duress from now on.

Join together one head board / foot board A and one longitudinal part B. Slide in the ends of longitudinal parts B into the slits of head board / foot board A by gently lifting them and pushing them down up to the stop.

After putting together the longitudinal parts the mattress support C is positioned.
