“Made up of bed, dresser, bedside tables and vanity Jean-Marie night collection focuses on the preciousness of saddle leather and leather and on the care taken on the craftsmanship”, says architect Umberto Asnago, telling about the new products designed for i 4 Mariani .
The bed has a painted tubular frame, as do the bedside tables and the headboard covered in saddle leather with a particular workmanship and a decorative cord.

UMBERTO ASNAGO
Umberto Asnago (1949), qualified from the school of Art of Cantù, begins the experience of designer with company Giorgetti SpA in 1968, of which he later assume the direction of the Research Centre.
In 2006 he left the company Giorgetti and began his career of designer, combining the business of art director and designer for company Penta lighting.
Since 2011 returns to collaborate with company Giorgetti as designer, and also he collaborates with companies Arflex, Besana, Gruppo Industriale Busnelli, Mobilidea, Ivano Redaelli, i 4 Mariani and Porada. He also works with exhibitions’ mounting and retail in Italy and in the world.
The experience developed in all these years, working with different typology of companies and with well-known architects and intellectual people make Umberto Asnago the right figure to professionally deal with the fast changes that characterize the furniture industry.
INFORMATION
BED FRAME
The headboard is in tubular steel epoxy powder painted in titanium color or any RAL color, and covered in saddle leather with a dark brown saddle leather string inlay. The lateral bands are in melamine coated panel upholstered with a sheet of resilient, CFC-free polyurethane foam with density of 70 kg/m³ and covered in fabric or leather. Headboard and lateral bands are covered in saddle leather and then are fixed to a metal frame where leans a wooden slatted base.
