Cosseted by the big plush cushions on a pectacular looking and the slightly tilted headboard which provides a highly comfortable posture for reading and - obliquely inclined as it dovetails with the bedframe - it also creates an elegant geometric detail.

Ellen Bernhardt and Paola Vella both working at the same design studio in Milan, they developed great congeniality in designing, made of individual international working experiences and a common vision of design.
In 2008 they found Bernhardt & Vella and started working across interior design, visual communications and product design, collaborating with renowned furniture manufacturers.
A COMMON VISION OF DESIGN
Founded in 2008 in Milan, Bernhardt-Vella takes its name from the German designer Ellen Bernhardt and by the Italian interior designer Paola Vella.

COVERING NAME
BOTTEGHE - BOTTEGHE is a chenille fabric with a soft and delicate hand. It is characterized by an irregular texture that gives it a natural flavor of timeless elegance. EASY CLEAN fabrics have an excellent resistance and easy maintenance. Fabrics with Easy Clean quality - if intervened promptly - can be cleaned with use of a mild detergent, such as water and neutral soap. It is very important to intervene promptly on the household stains (wine, beer, tea, coffee, chocolate, etc.) by removing them first with an absorbent paper or dry cloth without any excessive pressure on the fabric. Same result is not guaranteed on oil and ink stains that could leave a halo regardless the timely intervention.
