Emu Breeze Chair
BREEZE CHAIR
BREEZE CHAIR
Designed by Chiaramonte & Marin
Breeze collection is made up of a chair and a dining armchair. The structure is built with a profiled pipe in aluminum, which is bent to confer the chair's characteristic shape.
The weld joints are secured with a TIG technology that confers a strong resistance in addition to a higher standard from an aesthetic point of view.
The technical fabric is secured to the back by a hard plastic profile. This allows the insertion of the fabric inside a channel allowing the fastening of the chair. For the back, the insertion of a stainless steel plank confers the right tension to the fabric ensuring the right positioning.
DESIGNER
CHIARAMONTE & MARIN
The passion for objects meant as industrial products is the glue of the professional partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin, promoting partners of the homonymous Designstudio.
The different activities experienced through the years (interiors, graphics, industrial and lighting design) brought to a mixed knowledge, contaminated by ideas developed in many fields.
The long term working experience with the glass factories of Murano allowed blending two industries seemingly different, with the creation of a range of glassware blown by Nasomoretti for Emugroup, respectively leading firms in Murano glass and outdoor furniture.
Alfredo Chiaramonte was born in Bologna in 1961 and studied at the Faculty of Architecture of Venice. Marco Marin was born in Venice in 1964 and graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts specializing in industrial design.
They worked together with well known companies such as Miniforms, Emu Group, Bonaldo, Vistosi, Nasonmoretti, Andromeda International, Hoffman Italia, Renault Italia, Moulinex, Artificia, Gemina Publishing Group.
They teached at the European Center for preservation of the architectural heritage in Venice. Through the years they received many recognitions and some of their works have been exposed in the permanent collections of International Museums, like Museo Correr in Venice, Beaubourg in Paris, Moma in San Francisco and the Venice Biennale when they worked with Yoko Ono.

EMU-TEX
It is a technical fabric for outdoor use made with polyvinyl chloride thread. It features exceptional strength to ensure durability: maximum resistance to UV rays, the elements, humidity and sudden changes in temperature.
MAINTENANCE
To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend cleaning it regularly; more often in very damp locations with a marine climate. It is recommended to clean the surfaces using a soft cloth with water or mild detergents. Prolonged and continuous exposure to intense UV radiation or very low temperatures can affect the initial characteristics of the coloured coating, which is made from polyester. We recommend cleaning and storing the products in sheltered places during prolonged periods of non-use and during the winter.
