The flexible design of Pier Office enables it to be extended, moved, or modified to suit a variety of spaces and functions.
Designed by French designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Pier Office is part of a multifunctional storage system developed to meet the needs of a modern lifestyle.
Featuring a flat-pack design that is easy to assemble, reconfigure, and recycle, the simple construction provides a flexible shelving solution for organizing living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, and office spaces.
Pier System is available in a variety of colors and configurations that can be combined with each other, and elements within each configuration can be moved as needed.
Assembly and attachment of this item to a wall or other hard surface is not included in Threshold or In-Home Delivery.
DESIGNERs
RONAN AND ERWAN BOUROULLEC
Paris-based designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have been working together since 1998.
Raised in a farming family in Brittany, the brothers became interested in design as teenagers.
Ronan studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École nationale supérieure d’arts in Cergy before starting their own studio.
Together they’ve designed furniture, textiles, rugs, ceramics, and art objects that have transformed the design industry and offered new perspectives of materiality and purpose.
Their work has been celebrated in publications and museums worldwide. For HAY, they have created the Copenhague series, Palissade collection, Can Sofa, Elementaire Chair, and Balcony collection.
