The New York Air bed follows the same line of the sofa collection exhibiting all its retro elegance mixed with a contemporary soul and timeless spirit.
A bed of two identities and characterised by the hexagonal shape and quilted detailing of the headboard, New York Air rests on a sled base. Fully removable covers.

SERGIO BICEGO
Born in 1953 he left formal education and began, almost by chance, his experience in the field of the padded furniture.
Fascinated by the world that surrounded him, he eagerly devoted himself to researching building forms and techniques which have borne fruit for the companies in which he worked.
In 1991 he opened his studio as an independent designer and in 1993 he came across Saba Italia.
New challenges and new incentives lead to the creation of the “nomad sofa”: Taos, Ananta, Limes, Nesting, Pixel, Avant-Après. Creations that were born from reflection of new desires that encourage us to live in a less formal way, equipped with systems that enable change with simple gestures, by playing with shapes.

STRUCTURE
Headboard in wood covered with polyurethane foam and clothed with white cotton fabric coupled to polyester fiber 380gr/sqm. Air version includes the bed base with wooden slats and the bed frame is in wood covered with velfodera coupled to polyurethane foam. Box version has got bed frame in multilayer wood padded with polyurethane foam and clothed with white cotton fabric coupled to polyester fiber 380gr/sqm. We've looked at our most beautiful projects from another perspective: sleep. We have respected the visual language and maintained the intelligent functionality that makes them stand out. Pixel bed is soft in the entirety of its design. It offers a generous and comforting single volume thanks to the ample padding of the upholstered structure and rounded corners. The bed frame and the headboard are characterised by the quilted seams that recall Saba's iconic Pixel sofa. Well being, quality, functionality and beauty are the harmonious chords that have guided our hands.
