The Avant-Après bed has a sober allure and an elegant presence.
Grounded yet lightweight, it transforms into extremely interesting configurations thanks to the particular headboards that can be positioned along the bases’s perimeter.
The bed-frame, available for upholstery in fabric or leather, rests neatly on a metal base finished with painted metal feet. Fully removable covers.

Born in 1953 he left formal education and began, almost by chance, his experience in the field of the padded furniture. Fascinated by the world that surrounded him, he eagerly devoted himself to researching building forms and techniques which have borne fruit for the companies in which he worked.
In 1991 he opened his studio as an independent designer and in 1993 he came across Saba Italia. New challenges and new incentives lead to the creation of the “nomad sofa”:
Taos, Ananta, Limes, Nesting, Pixel, Avant-Après. Creations that were born from reflection of new desires that encourage us to live in a less formal way, equipped with systems that enable change with simple gestures, by playing with shapes.

STRUCTURE
Structure In painted metal, the structure includes an orthopedic bed base in semi-rigid multilayer wood with millings for the mattress ventilation and it is covered with velfodera coupled with pressed 300gr,sqm. Headboard panels are in multilayer wood padded with polyurethane foam and covered with velfodera coupled with polyurethane foam. Their anchorage with base is guaranteed through painted metal plate equipped with brackets.
