TRANSPARENCY
All faber products are handcrafted in partnership with a cabinet maker in mecklenburg-western pomerania. Local production, the short delivery distance of not more than 150km, the use of non-industrial production methods and environmentally friendly surface treatments result in an excellent environmental balance.
SPECIFICATIONS
-The solid wood used originates from German or French forestry, which is essentially sustainable and ecologically regulated by the applicable laws. This surface treatment fulfils: DIN 68861/1C (chemical stress on furniture surfaces), EN 71-3 (migration of soluble heavy metals). -Coloured and clear lacquers used on wood and composite materials are matt, lightfast, water-thinnable and based on an acrylic binder. This surface treatment fulfils: DIN 68861/1B (chemical exposure of furniture surfaces), EN 71-3 (migration of soluble heavy metals), DIN 53160 (part 1 and 2 saliva and perspiration fastness).
