The minimalistic, natural design of this lightweight bed gives any bedroom a breath of fresh air.Overall, Fawn embodies a minimal use of materials and is characterised by her identical, signature sides and gaps, which were realised by a composition of elements, turned into one unified form.Her cotton-weave or upholstered headboard leans back, to comfortably support people while they read or relax.

SALIH TESKEREDZIC
When Salih walks into a room, his energy is infectious. He puts passion and emotion into every design, and aims to create products that people truly love.
Our workshop is Salih’s favourite place, and his pencil is his favourite tool.alih is one of the reasons we focus on natural materials in our Gazzda products.
He is internationally renowned for pushing the technological boundaries of wooden design furniture and helps many appreciate that magical moment when they touch a finely crafted product detail for the first time.
Salih shares his passion outside of Gazzda as well. He has been teaching industrial design to promising youngsters since 2004 as a tenured professor at the Sarajevo Academy of Fine Arts.
Among his students, Salih’s near-obsession with wood is so well known, they affectionately call him ‘Geppetto’.When he’s not creating beautiful designs in our prototype workshop, you’re most likely to find Salih spending time with his family, or drinking his beloved Bosnian coffee in a café in downtown Sarajevo.

FINISH
Solid wood finish is available in two plant-based Hardwax oil finishes (colors), which retain the wood’s natural state, as a white or natural oil.
BODY
The superlight, demountable Fina Bed’s body structure is made out of solid wood - oak. The most noticeable feature of the bed is a thin frame which can be assembled in a few minutes.
LEGS
Bed and headboard legs are made out of powder coated-steel (fine structure) and are available in mushroom matte or black matte color.

HEADBOARD
Soft upholstery covers the front side of the headboard, while the backside reveals its oak veneered (rift cut) structure. The headboard is available in two upholstery materials: leather and fabric. For further information please see Available materials page in this document.
