ARTS AND MATERIAL
Designed by an Italian artisan based near Manzano for over 50 years, the Figue coffee table requires a handcrafted manufacturing process.
Several artisanal treatments temper and matify the wood and metal, meeting Faye Toogood's desire to imbue the pieces with a certain sense of "comfort," corresponding to the luxurious interiors depicted in Henri Matisse's work. The side table is available in two colors: brushed stainless steel or matte brown paint.

MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The use of abrasive products is strongly discouraged. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may alter the color of the parts.
INSPIRATION
INSPIRATION
For the Figue coffee table, Faye Toogood has chosen to reinterpret the leaf motif present in the artwork to design the metal leg.
It has been crafted using a single tubular piece, echoing the strokes of Matisse's pen on paper.
The table comes in two leg colors: stainless steel or powder brown. While the stainless steel evokes the blank spaces on the paper in Matisse's work, the brown matches the warm color of the pure thread vellum paper.
The wood grain, on the other hand, is left visible and appears as a thread. An interesting detail is that one can find an "H" and an "M" in the pattern of the leg, depending on the viewing angle.
