This modular planter is crafted from components that combine together to create a striking silhouette. The components attach to each other, enabling the planter to be built up to different heights. The components can be stacked to create a scale from light to dark. Sake’s versatility maximizes its functionality, and its distinctive shape has a strong resonance with styles from the Far East.

RECYCLED SAND CAST ALUMINIUM
Aluminium recycled from scrap, hand cast in sand moulds. The energy consumption when producing recycled aluminium is about 5% of that used when producing virgin aluminium.
POWDER COATING
Powder coating is a coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is usually applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. The result is an even, hard-wearing coloured surface with the desired gloss level.
VERSIONS
A bottom pot that can be used on its own. Add-on parts used to build at height. Bottom plate in oiled plywood for placement in any add-on part for to reduce soil volume and adaptation to plant height.

MAINTENANCE
-Powder coated Aluminium : Products that are powder-coated can be touch-up painted with alkyd paint if necessary.
-Sand cast aluminium : Maintenance on aluminium is not normally needed, but make sure to wash and keep the material clean. Untreated aluminium develops a matte surface over time.
