The BrichetZiegler studio was founded in 2010 by French designers Caroline Brichet and Pierre Ziegler.
According to them, among the studio's milestones , “the first remains the design of Week-End” since it is the first collection that they imagined together. The Week-End garden furniture collection was published in 2017 by Petite Friture.
This garden furniture forms a range with a marked visual identity , both graphic and colorful.
The Week-End designer garden bench will find its place in a garden, in front of a house or on a designer terrace , alone or with a coffee table and a few armchairs, converted into modern garden furniture.
DESIGNERS
CAROLINE ZIEGLER AND PIERRE BRICHET
Caroline ZIEGLER and Pierre BRICHET created Studio BrichetZiegler in 2010.
Their duo of designers was built through exchange and discussion, to form an open space of reflection, where poetry, materials and forms dialogue with sensitivity.
Working on all scales, with a predilection for furniture and spatial work, their projects take shape through their meetings. They collaborate with furniture and lighting publishers, and work on industrial design and scenography projects.
Colorful, graphic and expressive, they design evocative objects, where the material is highlighted, as much as the uses. In 2015, seeking to develop another area of expression and experimentation, they launched into self-publishing by creating the By Hands brand.
Collection of objects and small pieces of furniture that they design and make themselves by hand in a limited series. They obtained the Agora Grant in 2007 with the Dito Collective, and Project Aid from VIA in 2011 and 2012. In 2017, they received the Grand Prix de la Création from the City of Paris.

The designer garden bench, for a timeless exterior
Graphics and colors are not the only attributes of the identity of the Week-End collection. The profiled Pi-shaped structure of the seats which reinforces the backrests, the clear lines which create visual fluidity , as well as the play between vertical and horizontal slats emphasizing the full and empty spaces are all markers of a strong visual identity. According to Brichet-Ziegler, the Pi profile was one of the challenges of designing Week-End because “ it brings sophistication to the design ”. The designer garden bench is timeless and can last over time thanks to its aluminum structure and anti-UV paint . Like the entire collection, the Week-End designer garden bench has been designed to last a long time and be passed down .
