The rounded shapes of the Ischia are reminiscent of the 1950s, the golden age of Italian design.
DESIGNERS
MARINA BANI
Marina Bani completed her architecture studies at the Polytechnic of Milan in '88.
She has been working in the design field since 1983, collaborating with leading Italian and international companies.
ThTheir expertise begins with product design and the construction of high-quality products, with research into materials, technical solutions and manufacturing processes forming the basis for the development of innovative and sophisticated products.
This experience also led to work as an interior designer, which, in addition to designing exclusive, high-quality interiors, also often involves the ad hoc design of each individual piece of furniture.
MARCO PENATI
Marco Penati has been working in the field of product design since the 1970s. His experience in design as an all-rounder, from conception to production, has been shaped and enriched by his collaboration with leading designers in developing their products for leading furniture companies. In addition to his teaching at IED, the European Institute of Design in Milan, he has given numerous lectures and workshops in Italy and abroad. He currently holds the Chair of Design and Technology at NABA, the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

The Ischia is a large table, with no edges, a large island, far from the anonymity of the usual square shapes.The Ischia is an object that serves as a centrepiece for the sofa, which overlook its soft profiles.
