TECHNICAL DETAILS
By simply rotating the back, without removing any of the cushions, Douglas converts into a conventional bed with a 200 cm long and 14 cm high mattress.
COVER
Bottom: poly/cotton fabric; padding: resinated polyester fiber 400 g/m2. Nickel iron or Swarovski buttons (option for pillows only).
FRAME
- Back: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted.
- Armrests: solid fir, particle wood and poplar plywood.
- Headboard: solid fir and particle wood. Front panel (non-bearing) in particle wood.
MECHANISM OR STRUCTURE
High resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Sofabed seat made with polypropylene fabric, sofa seat made with webbing. Opening and closing operations with one single movement (sofabed only).

-Seat : expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 covered with covered with a poly/cotton canvas combined with a 100% PL resinated fiber 100 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.
-Back : expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 covered with a poly/cotton canvas combined with a 100% PL resinated fiber 100 g/m2 and 2,5 mm quilted interliner.
-Armrests : expanded polyurethane foam 40 and 30 Kg/m3, covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre.
-Frame : expanded polyurethane foam 30 Kg/m3 covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre.
DESIGNER - ELENA VIGANÒ
Elena Viganò attended the Art School “B. Luini” of Cantù and in 1994 graduated in Architecture at the “Politecnico di Milano”. The Interior Design Studio was born in 2002 by ten years experience in different fields but always linked to the furniture industry, interior design and renovation. The work is aimed at planning for private customers, commercial businesses and image.
