TYPOLOGIES
Mura is available in the standard version with closed back and seat aligned with the sides. Produced with floor-length sides or on beam, 30 cm wide. Available with both high and low backrest. Installation on flat and sloping floors or on steps, in straight or curved rows (standard minimum radius 15 m). Centre to centre distance from 53 to 56 cm.

The first version of Mura won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro ADI Award “for its formal and functional quality in the image perfection”.
INVISIBLE TECHNOLOGY
Seat and backrest with plywood internal structure. Non-deformable polyurethane foam padding. Side with plywood bearing internal structure. Floor anchor foot in painted steel profile. Installation on horizontal and sloped flooring or on steps, in straight or curved rows.

DESIGNER - GINO GAMBERINI
Freelance professional since 1977, he is a member of ADI (Association for Industrial Design) and BEDA (Bureau of European Designers Association) and mainly works in the field of industrial design, especially in office and community areas. In 1977 he has presented to SAIE exhibition in Bologna the prefabricated housing unit “AMPLIA”. In 1989 he was awarded “XV Compasso d’Oro” for the conference hall seat system “MURA” manufactured by LAMM.
INNOVATIVE MECHANISMS
Gravity system which releases and tips up the seat with a cushioned movement. The backrest lowers and at the same time moves into a vertical position, reducing overall dimensions.
VERSIONS
Standard version with backrest and closed seat aligned with sides. Produced with floor-level sides and on beam, 30 cm wide. Available with both high and low backrest. On project, the sides can be 24 cm wide.
DETAIL
Armchair equipped with a gravity system which releases and tips up the seat with “soft-close” movement slowed by a damper. At the same time the seat drops and uprights, reducing the volume of the armchair and increasing the available space between rows with a considerable advantage for the audience access/exit and for the cleaning and maintenance operations.
FORM AND FUNCTION
Compact and elegant armchair, designed for auditoriums and conference halls. It combines functional aspects and formal research, reduced size and high comfort.
SIDE
30 cm-thick side, has plywood inner structure, with flame-retardant, expanded polyurethane foam padding. Covering with fabric, leather or eco-leather. On project, the sides can be 24 cm wide. The side is foreseen for floor-fixing, with steel sheet foot painted with epoxy powder in semi-matt black RAL 9005, semi-matt silver, embossed bronze and embossed graphite finishes.The sides can be fitted with black stratified HPL tip-up writing tablet and steel joint, that folds away into the side with anti-panic movement. A writing tablet with black HPL top and a die-cast aluminium joint is available upon request.
ON BEAM VERSION STRUCTURE
Also available the beam (2 or 3 places) in tubular steel square section, painted with scratchproof epoxy powder paint in semi-matt black RAL 9005, semi-matt silver, embossed bronze or embossed graphite finish. Painted steel foot designed to be fixed to the floor every 2/3 seats. In the beam-mounted version, the sides have the same characteristics but are available with one height side panels resting on the beam (with the exception of the starting row sides that can even reach the ground).
