The Laki is almost an objet trouvée, born out of a happy idea: a steel tray combined with a tube structure, obtaining a very light valet stand to be used in the home with great freedom.
DESIGNER
MARCO PENATI
Marco Penati has been working in the field of product design since the 1970s. His experience of design as an all-round professionalism, from conception to production, was formed and enriched through collaboration with the most important designers, in taking care of the engineering of their products on behalf of important furniture companies. In addition to having taught at IED, the European Institute of Design in Milan, he has held numerous lessons and workshops in Italy and abroad. He currently holds the chair of Design & Technologies at NABA, the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
MARINA BANI
Marina Bani graduated in Architecture in 1988 from the Polytechnic of Milan.
Since 1983 he has been involved in design, in collaboration with the most important Italian and international companies.
Their expertise begins with product design and the construction of high-quality products, with research into materials, technical solutions and manufacturing processes forming the basis for the development of innovative and sophisticated products.
His experience starts from product design and engineering of high quality products, in which research into materials, technical solutions and manufacturing processes constitute the foundations for the development of innovative and refined products.
From this experience the interior design work also came to life, in which in addition to the proposal of exclusive and high-end interiors, the ad hoc design of each individual furnishing element is often requested.

STRUCTURE
The shape given to the structure allows maximum versatility and by placing it close to the sofa it can be reached with ease.

BASE
On the ground, along the crescent of the base, runs a spiral-wound leather string, which softens the support of the structure on the floor and protects both the structure and the floor.
