Sigill is a park bench for the future that builds on the design styles of the past.
The design is unique in its broken surface that angles two parts of the seat towards each other.
The bench’s contemporary shape gives it an urban context, making it ideal for street furniture.
The ease with which Sigill can be moved, stacked and stored makes it a popular choice for summer terraces, outdoor concert venues and open-air services.
DESIGNER
NOTE DESIGN STUDIO
Note is a design studio based in Stockholm. The studio was founded in 2008 and has since worked in a variety of fields including architecture, interior, product & graphic design as well as design strategy. Note has throughout the years been awarded with numerous prizes and awards, including WallPaper* Best Design Award 2018, designer of the year 2016 by Elle Decoration and designer of he year 2015 by Residence magazine.
GUNILLA ALLARD
Gunilla Allard is a Swedish designer, interior architect and scenographer. She graduated from the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) in 1988 where she studied interior architecture, and after attended Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi in Copenhagen where she studied art. She found her interest for design while working as a scenographer for movies such as Fanny and Alexander and The Glassblower’s children. In 1989 she started designing furniture for Lammhults and has since then created several famous furniture for Lammhult as well as other brands. In 2000 she was awarded with the Bruno Mathsson prize.
