MULTIPLICITY TABLE
MULTIPLICITY TABLE
Designed by Yves Béhar
The generous multiplicity dining height table echoes the sculptural convex form of the bench frame, with variations in angle and thickness to provide stability.
Solid and grounded it imparts a sense of ease and permanence. The table is substantial in scale, with generous wood boards that offer a familiar softness to the touch.
It is user-responsive and multi-use – designed for eating, working and social gathering. The frame of the table is dimensioned to allow the backless bench to slide efficiently underneath.
Multiplicity is an international collection of outdoor public furniture elements that gives new meaning to the term “global design.”
created and developed in partnership with celebrated design innovators yves behar and fuseproject, multiplicity is part of landscape forms’ global 45 initiative that pioneers the integration of mass production and custom materials for a global market.
The flexible, dynamic system addresses multiple scales, applications and creative expressions and includes six elements: a backed and backless bench, table, bike rack, led path light and litter.
Structural parts are manufactured by landscape forms, seating and table surfaces are produced from locally sourced hardwoods in markets outside north america.
Flat-pack shipping and local assembly for domestic (optional) and international locations support carbon-reducing sustainability. Multiplicity is a citizen of the world, equally at home in buenos aires, barcelona and boston.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The multiplicity table is designed and engineered to live a long, useful life in outdoor spaces without the use of chemical cleaners to maintain the finish. The durability, longevity and low maintenance of our products contribute to responsible stewardship of the earth’s resources.
-Metal : Clean surface as needed using a soft cloth or brush with a mild detergent. Avoid steam cleaning, abrasive cleansers, carbon steel brushes/wools and cleaners containing chlorine.
-Wood : Exterior woods require no maintenance. If desired, the surface may be scrubbed with warm soapy water and soft bristle brush. Pressure washing, steel wool/wire brushes are not recommended. Heavily ingrained stains may be sanded away with fine grade sandpaper worked in the direction of the grain. Sanded wood will weather to a gray patina.
