Drawing inspiration from the ubiquitous acorn streetlamp, Northport area lights merge advanced LED technology and optics with an homage to the traditional-style lights so deeply rooted in landscape design heritage.
Rather than as a glass globe, the “acorn” form subtly appears in the negative space between the arms at the top of each luminaire.
Inside, an LED element mounted below the lens subtly recalls gas lamps or early filament bulbs, inspiring nostalgic connections and reinforcing the sense of place.
Designed for applications up to 16’, the collection’s area lights are available in both single and double pole-mount or pendant-arm-mount configurations with either clear or diffused lenses in multiple distributions.
Options for the Landscape Forms visual comfort and high output light engines adapt Northport's performance specifically for the pedestrian scale or beyond in use cases like parking lots, streetscapes, transit and other environments with a wide range of illumination requirements.
The visual comfort light engine requires less eye adaptation through reduced glare, enabling lower light levels and lower energy use with excellent visual acuity.

Cast aluminum parts in a full color palette are finished with Landscape Forms proprietary Pangard II ® HAPS, VOC, lead-free polyester powdercoat. This product is Buy America Compliant and is International Dark-Sky Approved.
ELECTRICAL
Surge protected. Factory sealed and vented LED cartridge with weatherproof quick disconnect provides high level weather resistance and ease of serviceability. Cast aluminum driver housing assembly. Available with optional ANSI C136.41 twist lock receptacle and/or pole-mounted photo/motion sensor. Northport luminaire ships prewired with center element having a separate circuit from main light engine.
WARRANTY

POLE & BASE COVER
Manufactured from seamless aluminum alloy with a flush mounted hand hole cover. Base plate is cast aluminum and includes a two-piece cast aluminum decorative base cover, or four cast aluminum nut covers. Mounting template and anchor hardware included. Anchor bolts conform to ASTM F1554 Grade 55 and are provided with two hex nuts and two flat washers. Bolts have an “L” bend on one end and are galvanized a minimum of 12” on the threaded end. Single post-top pole includes a standard dimension 2-3/8" dia x 4" tenon. Poles designed to support arm mounted configurations include a standard 5” diameter pole, flush top with pole cap and configurable with ancillary devices, such as an ANSI C136.41 twist-lock receptacle.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The multiplicity table is designed and engineered to live a long, useful life in outdoor spaces without the use of chemical cleaners to maintain the finish. The durability, longevity and low maintenance of our products contribute to responsible stewardship of the earth’s resources.
-Metal : Clean surface as needed using a soft cloth or brush with a mild detergent. Avoid steam cleaning, abrasive cleansers, carbon steel brushes/wools and cleaners containing chlorine.
-Wood : Exterior woods require no maintenance. If desired, the surface may be scrubbed with warm soapy water and soft bristle brush. Pressure washing, steel wool/wire brushes are not recommended. Heavily ingrained stains may be sanded away with fine grade sandpaper worked in the direction of the grain. Sanded wood will weather to a gray patina.
LIGHT ENGINE
High powered LEDs mounted to a RoHS compliant circuit board with PMMA optics. Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. >80 CRI across all available color temperatures. Center element available in 2000K color temperature. The visual comfort light engine featured in 200 series luminaires, brings to the forefront attributes of human-centric optical design in pedestrian centric spaces. It reduces high angle glare and contrast ratio, eliminates ‘lens image’ of LEDs, and offers a choice of distributions for a first-class visual experience for pedestrians.
The high output light engine featured in the 300 series delivers up to 8400 lumens through a wide selection of roadway distribution types. Capable of meeting footcandle minimum and uniformity requirements at taller pole heights and wider spacing, the 300 series addresses lighting needs in vehicular and other environments where design criteria include non-pedestrian needs. The 300 series is the ideal accompaniment to the 200 series in meeting the breadth of lighting needs on a site.
