STAR TABLE LAMPS

STAR is a collection inspired by the world of cinema and its ‘star system’, hence its name. What we like the most about STAR is its brightness and its functional design. We are dazzled by its modern appearance, its shiny, elegant and timeless look, its brightness and its balanced combination of curved and straight lines.
The conical metallic foot provides the collection with great stability, both visual and real. We love the shade: in the case of the metallic version, it reflects the world around and it directs the light downwards, and the methacrylate one provides a luminous stream (dimmable in intensity), which, however, does not dazzle.
Its appearance is universal, so that STAR is able to adapt to all kinds of interior designs, to very different styles and decorative conceptions. STAR is perfect for residential, commercial, hospitality projects, work spaces, rest areas and in any installation that requires a beautiful, colorful and original spot of light.
STAR has two versions: table lamp and floor lamp. Both are presented in two finishes: black and white shiny painted, in which case the shade is always made in white methacrylate and the foot in painted iron.
Both versions have a dimmer located in the switch along the cable, which allows to adapt its high luminous performance to the atmosphere needs of each moment. STAR incorporates E27 in all cases.
DESIGNER
CRISTIAN CUBIÑÁ
(Barcelona, 1968)
He studies Industrial Design at the ELISAVA School (University School of Design and Engineering) in Barcelona and, once he finishes his training, he decides to create his own business project, founding the family society "Hustadt Iluminación". During the first years he undertakes the responsibilities of Product Manager.
In 2003, when the company creates the ALMA LIGHT brand, he becomes responsible for broader areas such as product design, selection of proximity suppliers and control of manufacturing and its highest quality standards, always with a view to the evolution of the market, both in terms of design and purely technological and productive aspects.
It is in the alma light project that cristian cubina can develop his skills as a designer, projecting the stands of the fairs in which the company participates as exhibitor and creating classic collections, such as drop or lens.
Cristian Cubina is one of the most renowned designers in the field of contemporary decorative lighting, a sector in which he is specialized. His creations have been exhibited at various European fairs and have been selected for several publications on international design.
Later, he signs other creations such as candle, capsule, deco, hotel, kone, led box, oval led, led pole, the light and the palm. His designs are imbued with his curious and observant character and his eagerness to look at everything he sees around him, where any detail can be susceptible of becoming a light fitting.
