Square is defined by its use of square lines, clean-cut and geometric.
The armchair, sofa, lounge chair, stool and accent tables share a mettalic frame: four slender metal legs which give a lightness to the design. The mix of upholsteries and the material contrasts add individuality and versatility to the range.

The Square B is the bar stool of the Square collection. It shares its clean lines with the rest of the range. The chair, with a lightly padded shell, is upholstered in leather, saddle leather or cloth. To create unique material contrasts, the leather or cloth cushions can be combined with any of the shell upholstery options. The tubular lacquered steel legs allow a brushed aluminium ferrule detail.

CHRISTOPHE PILLET
Born in 1959, has lived and worked in Paris since 1988. Designer with a Decorative Arts diploma from Nice in 1985 and a “Master of Domus Academy” in Milan, in 1986, Pillet collaborated with Martine Bedin for two years.
Afterwards, he worked with Philippe Starck from 1988 to 1993, before starting out on his own as an independent professional. Elected Creator of the Year in 1994, Pillet took part in many aspects of design, such as furniture designer, object designer, interior architecture and set designing.
This brought him to the creation of furniture pieces and objects for Cappellini, Daum, JC Decaux, Driade, Ecart International, L’Oréal, Lacoste, Moroso, Renault, Serralunga, Shiseido, Shu Uemura, Veuve Cliquot Ponsardin, Whirlpool…
He also arranged the internal architecture of boutiques, hotels and restaurants, such as the famous Sezz, in Paris.
Christophe Pillet analyzes with a clear mind the virtues of a generous discipline that has the purpose of “making life a bit more beautiful”.
Fluidity of lines, a play of lights on the smooth white or coloured surfaces, and the absence of superfluous decorations characterize his style, which, imbued with elegance and sobriety, aims at essentials without ever being austere, because, for Pillet, design corresponds first of all to “the wish to bring to light the behaviours of people in the respect of their desires”.
Pillet has also created exhibition arrangements, like that of the great retrospective exhibition dedicated to Hugo Pratt, presented in Siena in 2005.
He has taken part in many collective exhibitions: “Memphis”, in 1989 in Milan; at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, in Paris, in 1989; “Les capitales du design” and “20 ans de Création en France” at the Georges Pompidou Centre, in 1991 and 1997; “Proximus Motion Signs” in Bruxelles in 2003; “Domeau & Pérès 10 ans de Design”, interpreted by 12 French creators in 2005.
Many personal exhibitions have been dedicated to him: “Via carte blanche”, in Paris in 1993; elected Creator of the Year 1994 at the Salon du Mueble, “Parismix” in Osaka in 1997; Higher School of Art and Design, in Reims in 2000; launching of Artelano in Singapore and Tokyo, in 2002.
More recently, Pillet has arranged the internal decoration of the Catherine Malandrino Boutique, in the New York Meat Packing District; the Sony Showroom in Paris, in 2006, as well as the creation of the furniture pieces for the Bals Company in 2007, in Japan. Among his current projects, Christophe Pillet is developing a series of residences in Marrakech, a restaurant in Prague, tableware for the Bernardaud Company.
