PENDANT LAMP SHINGLE SMALL LGH0240
The SHINGLE lamp collection, which includes the SHINGLE small pendant lamp, harnesses the potential of beautiful and natural materials such as wood.
The lamps are made from traditionally crafted shingles, formerly used for roofing. Combining the shingle with a light source creates a modern and unconventional composition for interior spaces with character, while also paying homage to architectural traditions.

DETAIL
The SHINGLE small pendant lamp is handmade in Poland. The wood undergoes an initial process of splitting, resulting in individual shingle boards that acquire a natural, slightly curved shape as they dry. Each shingle is then manually Wybierzed and coated on both sides with natural wax for preservation, while also highlighting its natural texture.
In the final stage, the boards are assembled according to the proprietary design of Maria and Jacek Rypuła – architects and founders of Gie El – and equipped with electrical components. The SHINGLE small lamp is designed for interiors requiring lighting with a distinct character. Despite its small size, it serves as a decoration and a strong aesthetic accent in interior design. It is often chosen by architects and designers for interiors that break away from conventional and stereotypical solutions, opting instead for unique, non-conformist styles.
