The original. The 1006 Navy chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines.
Still built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Outdoor approved. Small carbon footprint. Guaranteed for life.
Standard glides: soft plastic TPU glides for all-around use, including outdoor use. Alternative glides available at an upcharge.

ALTERNATIVE GLIDES
Original round metal glide with a hard plastic cap, for the aluminum Navy collection. Not suitable for 111 Navy chairs and stools. For all-round use. Especially suited for carpeted floors, to reduce friction. Also suitable for outdoor use. Our glides are designed to fit authentic Emeco chairs and stools as listed above. Ships in a set of four, with each glide designed to fit a specific chair leg. To make sure you choose the right glide that suits your product and needs, please contact us. INCLUDE SEAT PAD
Emeco Upholstered Seat Pad in a variety of leather and textiles, including outdoor options. Suits: 1006 Navy, 111 Navy, Navy Wood, Heritage, Hudson and Icon. All seat pads are handmade using 100% recycled plastic substrates and fire-rated foam, CAL 133 compliant. Thickness 5/8" (16mm).
