CARE GUIDE
The table has been treated with a pure acrylic stoneguard sealer designed for porous surfaces. The product is UV stable (non-yellowing), and is stain resistant. However, the surface is still a semi permeable finish and we advise spills should be wiped off as quickly as possible.
-Day to day cleaning : The stone can be easily cleaned using warm water and a non-abrasive cloth -Buff dry with a clean soft cloth.
-Do not : Use any abrasive or chemical cleaning products or bleach, as this can damage the sealant.

HAND-PAINTED CAST JESMONITE
A man-made, water-based building composite, Jesmonite has excellent casting properties and can replicate very fine details. Jesmonite is lighter than stone or concrete, and with no VOCs it is non-invasive to work with, and kinder to the environment.
Nim tables are individually hand-cast by building up layers of Jesmonite in the mould. The piece is then hand painted by a decorative artist. The result is a maelstrom effect of sandy hues running through the sides of the piece, rising through harder textures at its base to the gentleness of the still and calm top surface.
DETAIL
A PRESENT TO OURSELVES
Nim was born out of a desire to mark 11 years of designing and building our business (being too busy to pause and celebrate 10).
The gift to ourselves was an exciting, personal and creative project to mark the milestone Our brief was to create a table that would deliver texture, but in a different way to timber, we wanted the piece to convey a naturalness and beauty, but in a strong and dynamic way. We sought to reference lava, strata, stone and weather, and to capture all that movement, power and potential.
THE CONCEPT
A series of coffee tables referencing a core sample from the earth, where a rough textured base flowed into a perfectly formed top. Generously scaled and monolithic in form, yet elegant - somewhere between natural stone and an other-worldly textured materiality.
