The Liris Pendant is a beautiful lamp. It comes with the latest LED technology. The pendant is dimmable and comes with a canopy in the same colour as the lamp as well as a having a 3 meter textile cable.
The Pendant has a unique look and expression. The light source cascades the light up to the lamp shade that cascades the light further out in the room primarily beneath but also a little upwards through the lamp shade.
The lamp shade is Ø70cm and are made of a cotton laminated PVC material. The white PVC surface underneath cascades the light very well, while the white cotton surface on touch gives the lamp a more exclusive look.

Thalea Schmalenberg and Kasper Fris Egelund are a design duo based in Berlin and
Copenhagen.
During their master studies at Royal Danish Academy in 2019 they started collaborating on projects and found a harmonious fusion of their design philosophies and
processes.
Despite diverging paths in the design world after graduation, their connection remained strong through shared projects, also from a distance.
While Kasper delved into furniture and product design, Thalea specialized in spatial design for hospitality and residential spaces.
This diversity in expertise became instrumental in the evolution of their 'Fold Family,' as they approached it from multifaceted angles, blending their respective skills.

Beginning with a table lamp, the concept evolved into a comprehensive collection featuring pendant, floor, wall, and table lamps. The aim was to blend the playful, handcrafted essence of a fan with a modern industrial foundation. By enhancing light quality through the integration of a small elevated LED light source, they transformed the folded fan into both a lampshade and a reflector. When positioned against a wall, the lamp emits a soft, evenly dispersed ambient glow.
TECHNOLOGY
The fusion of Liris’ timeless craftsmanship with modern technology resulted in a collection that resonates with both craftsmanship, tradition, and modern aesthetics.

DESIGN
Design duo Thalea Schmalenberg and Kasper Fris Egelund found inspiration in the elegance of the traditional paper fan. Their fascination with its simple and poetic expression, as well as its materials and interactive properties, sparked the creation of their design concept: Liris.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
-Before installation you must disconnect the main cable from the power supply - remove fuse or turn switch to “OFF”. -Before drilling holes, check the walls for any cables to prevent damage. -The installation must be performed in accordance with the local safety regulations. -Before usage, refer to the provided manual. The manual contain the needed instructions to assemble the lamp. An incorrect assembly can result in damaging the parts, the circuit and reducing the lamp's lifespan.
-Do not place any object on the lamp if they are not delivered with the lamp. -Ensure that the power supply is OFF before cleaning the product. Use a dust broom to clean the lamp. -Use the following white cotton gloves to avoid greasy fingerprints at the lamp. -The lamp gets hot when it is on. Allow the lamp to cool down before touching or cleaning.
