DESIGNERS
KERSTI SANDIN AND LARS BÜLOW
The architects Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow are working together since 1978, when they started their design studio.
In 1992 they founded the furniture company Materia and in 2017 the Museum of Furniture Studies, based on their extensive collection of modern furniture objects.
Kersti Sandin was a design professor for several years and has been awarded the title Honorary Member of Architects Sweden. Lars Bülow has been the CEO for a.o.
Materia and Lammhults. Sandin and Bülow were awarded the Excellent Swedish Design Award 20 times, alongside several other awards.
They are represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg and the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Cologne.
