THE VASES PLANTER

The Vases, designed by Ron Arad for Serralunga, is a veritable sculpture inspired by the seabed, comprised of 5 cones with different textures.
These large planters are made of linear low-density polyethylene, through rotational moulding.

Ron Arad’s constant experimentation with the possible uses of materials such as steel, aluminium or polyamide and his radical re-conception of the form and structure of furniture has put him at the forefront of contemporary design.
Alongside his limited edition studio work, Ron Arad designs for many leading international companies including: Serralunga, Kartell, Vitra, Moroso, Fiam, Driade, Alessi, Cappellini, iGuzzini and Magis among others.
His current architectural commissions range from hotel projects in Italy, Spain, England and Mexico to a design museum in Israel.
Arad is the winner of numerous design awards and his work appears in many public collections worldwide.
He is currently Professor of Design Product at the Royal College of Art in London.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To remove dust and dirt from the surfaces of the product you will need to periodically clean with a damp cloth soaked in common detergent or soap and rinsed with water. The products with a lacquered finish are more sensitive to scratches; for this reason use a polish cleaner, gently cleaning with a soft tissue. Avoid the use of heavy chemicals. Avoid the use of ethanol or any liquid containing, even in small amounts, acetone, trichloroethylene and ammonia (solvents in general).
