-Choose the perfect size and color for your children. -The foot structure is made of certified solid fir wood and EN-71 certified water-based paint. -It allows you to raise the bed by 20 cm and can be applied at any time; from our experience the "high" bed is ideal from 4 years old.
HOW MUCH HEIGHT DO THE LEG SUPPORTS ADD TO THE BED?
The bed will be raised by 17.5 cm, meaning the distance from the floor to the mattress is 20 cm. The actual clearance under the bed is 13 cm.
FROM WHAT AGE CAN THE RAISED BED BE USED?
- We recommend raising the bed once the child shows they’re able to sleep without falling off.
- This usually happens around age 4, when children are more aware of their surroundings and are comfortable staying “under the covers.”
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE SIZE?
It depends on the space available in the room :) and how long you plan to use the bed. (But keep in mind that our beds are designed to grow with your child — they can be adjusted and used for many years, even forever!)

For us at ‘ettomio, the choice of materials is a priority for the environment, for the future of our children and for our homes.
All the wood used in the production of 'ettomio's furniture and accessories is FSC certified, because our products need not only smell of nature, but must also respect it.
FSC, as the most important international certification for wood products, guarantees at the same time compliance with strict standards in the procurement of raw materials and in the management of forest resources, as well as oversees the social impact deriving from carrying out harvesting activities.
The result of the work of our wood craftsmen is then finished with lacquer or natural oil. We at 'ettomio have chosen to proceed with this further processing because by protecting and waterproofing the wood we can create more resistant and long-lasting furnishings, as the real ‘ettomio standards require.
For this procedure we use only and exclusively water-based paints with a reduced environmental impact. But that's not all: our paints are EN-71 certified, the very high safety standard required for toys, which must guarantee maximum protection for the little ones.
Alternatively, 'ettomio furnishings and accessories are treated with an oil composed of a 100% natural blend, able to protect against the signs of aging and dirt and always respecting the EN-71 standard.
Also the 'ettomio textile products meet high standards of quality and environmental protection. Thanks to the preference for yarns and padding of natural and organic origin, choosing our products means supporting a responsible supply chain.
USE
WHO WILL ASSEMBLE MY BED?
You will assemble it: our bed is designed for easy assembly at home. Most of the elements are pre-assembled and we guarantee you ease and speed.
WHAT DOES THE ETTINO BED INCLUDE?
It includes 3 side fences (head, foot and long side), bed slats, a cotton roof and feet. The mattress is not included.
COULD UNDERFLOOR HEATING / COOLING BE A PROBLEM?
No, because the structure of the bed allows ventilation and the mattress rests on the slats which also have an air space underneath.
AND THE DUST? HOW CAN I DUST UNDER THE BED?
We have thought of this too! The roll-out slats can be taken up, allowing you to thoroughly clean under the bed with the utmost ease.
WILL THE CHILD FEEL COLD BEING SO CLOSE TO THE FLOOR?
No, because thanks to the slats and mattress, the child is insulated from the cold floor.
HOW CAN I PREVENT MY BABY FROM ROLLING OUT OF THE BED?
You can use our protective side panel “cosi-no-cado”, which is available in different lengths, or use some large cushions.
CAN THE SIDE FENCES BE REMOVED?
Yes, this is also why our bed is special :) you can change its configuration over time.
IS THERE ANY DANGER TO THE CHILD?
No, because we have made the bed in accordance with safety standards and our craftsmen know how to make solid and strong products. We recommend proper use and not hanging heavy objects from the roof.
