In pursuit of finding the perfect balance between solidity and softness, the Ville lounge chair by Anderssen & Voll epitomises the founding principles of the collection.
The starting point from which the series originated, the lounge chair model excels in providing a deeply supportive lounging experience which elevates both the aesthetic and functional aspects of any outdoor space.

ANDERSSEN & VOLL
Anderssen & Voll is an Oslo-based design studio founded by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll in 2009 .
Guided by their Scandinavian heritage and an affinity for the material at hand, Anderssen & Voll have established a profoundly intuitive practice informed by their artistic sensibilities.
Anderssen & Voll works across multiple creative disciplines, including furniture, lighting, home accessories and textile design.
From the early sketches to the final product, every step in the creation of a new design is thoughtfully considered–resulting in a portfolio of work that embodies a sense of care and attention to detail that is synonymous with the design duo’s creative pursuits.
Rather than being defined by, and confined to, a specific way of being, Anderssen & Voll prefer to be open, developing emotionally-driven designs in the process. Their overall desire is to create designs with souls and to animate something inanimate.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
The metal frame is cut, shaped, welded before being powder-coated. The webbing of the chair seat is webbed by hand and cut into shape with a hot knife to avoid fraying.
