Nuvola 02, designed by Mario Cucinella, evokes the world of modernist architecture, characterized by thin pilotis and overlapping, staggered planes.

Architects MC A
Mario Cucinella is the founder of MC A – Mario Cucinella Architects , an award-winning architectural design studio that focuses on sustainability and the environmental impact of buildings.
His work has generated a wide range of projects, from product design to buildings and urban masterplans.
In 2015, he founded SOS – School of Sustainability in Bologna , a post-master program aimed at training new professionals in the field of sustainable design.
The impact and importance of his work, both from an environmental and social perspective, as an architect and educator, has been recognized with an Honorary Fellowship from the American Institute of Architects (2017) and an International Fellowship from the Royal Institute of British Architects (2016).
In 2018, he curated the Italian Pavilion at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale with “Arcipelago Italia”. In 2019 he founded MC D Mario Cucinella Design , a product design department focused on the themes of recycling and the circular economy in collaboration with the most famous Made in Italy companies
