kaschkasch was founded in 2011 by Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider. The design duo is internationally active in the fields of product design and art direction. Conversations and discussions are the starting point of every design.
Kaschkasch sees design as a helpful and practical component of everyday life, which is restrained but with character and attitude. Their designs are a symbiosis of straightforwardness and poetry, moving between function and formal rigor - simple, challenging and logical.
Kaschkasch questions established norms and offers new answers to the ever-changing challenges of everyday life. Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider share a practical and academic background: both are trained carpenters and have a degree in product design.
This complexity characterizes their work. For kaschkasch, practical work and technical understanding contribute to the design method: traditional craftsmanship paired with a mindset for innovation and new technological solutions.

Thanks to its sturdy design, it effectively prevents pillows from slipping backwards and protects the wall behind it from soiling. The headboard also allows you to lean back comfortably and creates a cosy frame in the sleeping area. The internal design of the headboard, which is slightly smaller than the overall bed, ensures harmonious integration.
