The Infinitamente 2.0 dining table features a marble top made from a single slab and composed of two opposing sections.

The undersides of the two sections are reinforced with a technical mesh that ensures resistance to bending, breaking, and impact. A steel blade insert refines the joint line between the two parts that form the top.

The top can be selected from the various types of marble available in the catalog, while the base consists of two helical-shaped legs with beveled surfaces upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather. The result is a highly sculptural object, a generously sized table capable of seating up to twelve people.

ROBERTO LAZZERONI

Roberto Lazzeroni was born in Pisa.

He studied art and architecture in Florence, taking an increasing personal interest in the phenomena of conceptual art and radical design during his years of training.

He débuted professionally in the early 1980s with a series of important 'Interior Architecture' works that were immediately noticed and published by both Italian and international magazines.

Roberto Lazzeroni has enjoyed an extremely dynamic professional journey that today sees him involved in various projects, and able to boast prestigious collaborations, art direction and interior and contract design in various parts of the world.

Awards include: Tecniques Discretes (Paris, 1991), Conran Foundation Museum, (London, 1992), Elegant Techniques, (Chicago, 1992), La Fabbrica Estetica, (Paris, 1993), Dall'Albergo alla Nave, (Genoa, 1993), Costruire il mobile, (Milan 1999).

BASE STRUCTURE

The top rests on two bases made of MDF and birch plywood. Each base consists of three separate elements joined together by beech dowels and two metal plates. At the bottom, a shaped felt tip protects the floor.

The Poltrona Frau dining table marks a new chapter in a story that continues over time. It retains the marble top while featuring two legs exquisitely upholstered in Pelle Frau^® leather, in a version that joins the collection.

MARBLE TOP

The top is obtained from a single marble slab and consists of two opposing parts. The underside of both marble parts is reinforced with a technical mesh to ensure resistance to bending, breakage, and impact. A brilliant stainless steel blade insert finishes the joint line between the two parts forming the marble top.

SEMI-BRILLIANT MARBLE

The marble top is surface-treated with a protective oil- and water-repellent solution that gives it a more natural appearance. Surfaces treated with these products are sufficiently resistant to abrasion and heat, but have limited resistance to grease stains and acidic substances.

BRILLIANT MARBLE

The marble top is treated with a transparent polyester coating that enhances surface resistance and prevents liquid absorption.

CONCEPT AND DESIGN

Following the Infinito table, created in 2021 as a limited and numbered edition, and Infinitamente, its highly successful re-edition launched in 2023, designer Roberto Lazzeroni introduces “Infinitamente 2.0,” a large dining table capable of seating up to twelve people. The offset double-oval shape references both the complementary forms of yin and yang and the symbol of completeness and prosperity represented by infinity—hence the name.

The raw material, by its very nature, ensures that each piece has a unique and distinctive appearance, like a snapshot of centuries-old geological stratification revealed through textures, veining, and color gradations that cannot be replicated in artificial materials. The result is a highly sculptural object, a refined expression of Italian luxury furniture.
