ISOTTA L007S/A PENDENT LAMP
ISOTTA L007S/A PENDENT LAMP
Designed by Alberto Basaglia & Natalia Rota Nodari
Isotta is a small pendant lamp that combines style and elegance and draws inspiration from the shape of the headlights of early 20th century cars.
Made of aluminium powder-coated in different colours, it stands out for its soft, enveloping shape. The light is emitted downwards and upwards, through a hole in the upper part of the diffuser, which emits a delicate light beam towards the ceiling.
DESIGNER
ALBERTO BASAGLIA & NATALIA ROTA NODARI
<<Light is warm, light is cold, light gives atmosphere, light decorates, light creates intimacy.>>
Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari graduated with honours in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and have been living and working together since 1997.
heir first design experience led them to win the Young & Design competition in 1999, and from then on, their mission was clear: to recognise the potential of a company, share a vision with the owner, and apply a design method in strategic and product terms so as to fulfil that vision.
In 2013, the Achille Castiglioni Foundation dedicated the exhibition “Alternative Synergies” to their specific methodological approach.
With Pedrali, they have been working for over 10 years on the "Lighting" collection: a complete line, extended over the years, that “illuminates” the company’s wide range of products.
For these two architects, the numerous national and international accolades received are an important incentive to always giving their all.
