The 1970s aesthetic inspiration that distinguishes the Libra seats also defines Libra Bed, the design for the night area, where the same overlapping rounded volumes of the seat, backrest and headrest are found, along with the meticulous tailoring details that characterise the upholstery and highlight the refined artisanal craftsmanship.
Distinctive features of this bed — whose base supporting the mattress consists of a spring sommier — are the profile that outlines the curling along the perimeter, making it particularly soft, as well as the feet made from chrome-plated metal tubes.

The collaboration between Minotti and Giampiero Tagliaferri, architectural and interior designer with studios in Los Angeles and Milan, kicks off in 2024.
The designer’s aesthetic approach is inspired by his bond with the two cities, reflecting the intersection of 20th century Italian design and Southern California modernism.
In this way, the delicate Milanese balance of ornament and essence, splendour and discretion blends harmoniously with Californian simplicity, understated elegance and the sensual interplay of light, colour and landscape, resulting in a distinctive and evocative design language in harmony with the brand’s style and taste.

COVERS
Upholstery is completely removable in all versions (fabric and leather). The headboard upholstery can be removed by lifting the headboard out of the bed frame using the quick-set-and-release closure system and removing the headrest using the levers located inside the backrest.

BENCHES STRUCTURE
In plywood of various thicknesses. The seat structure is made of various layers of variable-density high-resilience polyurethane foam. The structure is then encased in breathable heat-bonded quilted fibre laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for added softness. Tailoring of the slipcover features soft top-stitching.
BASE
Composed of 8 mm thick bent sheet metal, varnished matt Black or polished Black Coffee colour. Completing the base are cylindrical metal bars, Ø 25 mm, varnished polished Black Coffee paired with the base with polished Black Coffee finish, or with polished chrome finish paired with the base varnished matt Black. Black polyethylene glides; also included 30 mm H glides, recommended for use on rugs.
STRUCTURE
One-piece free-standing bed frame in extra-thick plywood. The bed frame is designed to accommodate pocket springs covered with a surface layer of high-resilience (CF-free) polyurethane foam. It is then covered with perforated technical fabric that allows greater circulation of air throughout the structure.
A perforated plywood panel, placed under the springs, facilitates air circulation. Headboard (backrest and headrest) is made of plywood padded with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam, encased in breathable quilted heat-bonded, high-loft polyester fibre laminated to hypoallergenic white cotton fabric.
Bed frame is covered with heat-bonded fibre laminated to white cotton fabric that lends a soft fluffiness to the padding while isolating it from the upholstery fabric, ensuring the product is hygienic. Fine tailoring of the structure (bed frame and headboard) features piping that emphasises the gathering along the perimeter of the elements and top-stitching on the headboard.
