Q-Cina celebrates the exchange of knowledge, skills, and secrets surrounding food and its implications for cultural relationships and exchanges.
Made entirely of painted iron tubing, the worktop is made of okoumé wood, perforated to accommodate the steel tray.

MoMAng is a Bari-based design collective founded in 2011.
They collaborated with the Xscape association on the “Metti una sera a cena” project during the participatory activities of the Urban Regeneration Program of Via Leuca in Lecce in 2011 and created Q-Cina: a mobile kitchen for street workshops and the preparation of the final neighborhood dinner of the event.
In 2013, as part of “RadioMateriality,” an international artist-in-residence project, they created a small, zero-volume architecture that reinterprets the archetypal form of the house, conceived as an “activating” garrison of open space.
MoMAng exhibited at the FuoriSalone during Milan Design Week 2013 with Q-Cina. In the same year, they were selected to participate in Operae 2013, the “International Self-Produced Design Festival” in Turin, with both projects.
MoMAng's Q-Cina was selected to participate in the Public Design Festival during Milan Design Week 2014.Momang, in collaboration with Officine Tamborrino, created Q-Cina, an object that brings design to the world of street food.
