With an academic degree in Fine Arts - Sculpture by the Escola Superior de Artes e Design at Caldas da Rainha since 2009, the practice that has occupied him ever since, exhibiting his work individually as well as collectively.
Recently, he has also been dedicated to the design project - DENTE DE CÃO - trying to create objects, predominantly in the furniture area, characterized by their versatility allowing to change them into multiple configurations, easily adapted to the needs of each user.
The differentiating element of each piece is searched on the technologies and ingeniousness combined with design, giving them originality and uniqueness.

While it may initially appear as a simple freestanding bookshelf when collapsed, this design hides an innovative secret. It actually consists of two intersecting bookshelves, each the exact same size.

DETAIL
The second bookshelf doesn’t just expand horizontally; it can also be extended upward, partially extended in either direction, or even tilted, giving you the freedom to create a more dynamic, avant-garde aesthetic.
USE
Made from two blocks of the same size, each block is composed of 48 carefully arranged wooden slats. These slats work seamlessly with the solid brass screws that facilitate the movement of the blocks, ensuring a smooth and stable operation.
The precision in its construction guarantees both the structural integrity and the flexibility of the design, while the materials used, solid wood and durable brass, lend the piece a timeless quality. Whether you are looking for a practical solution for your books or seeking to make a bold design statement, this bookshelf offers the best of both worlds.
MATERIALS
WOOD OPTIONS
-Every piece of furniture retains the character of the tree, so there aren't two pieces exactly identical. Wood is a natural and renewable resource that requires the lowest amount of energy for the conversion into planks.
- Like any natural material it has an open structure. Some changes may occur at any time depending on light exposures or humidity in the air, most of them will disappear as soon as the humidity level goes up. We work with noble materials, oak and walnut, because those are the ones we have the perfect knowledge about its characteristics.
- The unpainted non-artificial finishing of our solid wood furniture requires low-maintenance and enables you to make small repairs by your own hands or professional repairs, giving you an infinitely renewable surface.
