NICOLA BONRIPOSI
Nicola Bonriposi is an Italian designer whose approach to design is deeply rooted in the craft of materials and processes.
Born in Italy and with a Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Politecnico di Milano, Nicola has cultivated a versatile design philosophy that emphasizes transparency and a direct relationship between design and the methods of making.
His career has taken him from MrSmith Studio in Milan to GarthGlobal Studio in Berlin, and later to ClaudioBellini Studio in Milan, before becoming Lead Designer at Extremis in Belgium for nearly five years. Now back in Milan, Nicola continues to draw inspiration from every environment and encounter.
“I see design as a constant process of decision-making, where each choice, whether in material, form, or technique, directly influences the outcome. It’s about gathering insights, understanding the context, and allowing those elements to guide the design in a way that feels both purposeful and intuitive.”
