MINIMA ROOM DIVIDER

Minima room divider is a full-height architectural solution that, even when positioned at the centre of a room, creates visually lightweight partitions capable of organising space.

Its modular structure and essential design ensure a harmonious integration within the environment. The system can reach up to 3 metres in height and extend beyond 7 metres in horizontal length, with a maximum configuration of six columns.

The compositional flexibility is further enhanced by the option to integrate storage modules and open compartments, elements that modulate the rhythm of the composition and help define the function of each space.

DESIGNERS

ROBIN RIZZINI

Robin Rizzini is an Italian-British designer. After graduating from the Polytechnic School of Design, he began collaborating with international design studios and companies.

In 2013, he founded the company Metrica with Lucio Quinzio, which is recognized both in Italy and abroad for its approach to design and project management in the furniture and design sector.

Founder of MDF Italia, Bruno Fattorini led the company from 1992 to 2013, when it was finally acquired by the Cassina family holding.

In addition to redefining the company's strategy based on commercial and product policies, he guided the cultural and aesthetic reflection, focusing on specific lifestyles characterised by an evolution of minimalism and simplicity.

The respect for the past and the rigour of forms are reflected in the MDF Italia collection he conceived, which includes the iconic Minima bookshelf, Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro.

UPRIGHTS AND SHELVES

Frames and shelves made of extruded aluminium matt painted and assembled using a concealed joining system. Aluminium frame with a 1.5x1.5 cm section and shelf thickness of 1.5 cm. End frames are equipped with an extruded aluminium pressure cap.

CABINETS BASIC. ROP-LEAF DOOR/DRAWERS

L60/L90 D33 H35 cm, freely resting on the structure. Medium-density wood fibreboard with variable thickness, available in a matt lacquered or wood veneer finish.

- Drawers : Double drawer equipped with push-pull opening system, with totally-extractable guides.
- Flap door : Door equipped with downward compass opening, with retractable mechanism with a stainless-steel cable, shock-absorbing system, adjustable in intensity and strength in the closing and opening phases.

CABINETS EXTRA. ROP-LEAF DOOR/DRAWERS

L60/90/120 D33 H35 cm, freely resting on the structure. Made from melamine-faced fibreboard panels in grey (similar to RAL 7012). The interior of the unit is always grey, while the outside of the back panel is available in a lacquered finish to match the shelving structure.

- Drawers : Double drawer fitted with push-pull opening system and full-extension concealed slides. The drawer front is a panel faced with grey with an epoxy powder-coated aluminium frame in varius colours that houses the relative finishing panels, available in: grooved Cimento® panel, matching the colour of the storage unit structure.
- Cabinets with ﬂap opening door : Door with an innovative pantograph opening and closing mechanism, completely concealed inside the side panels, for extreme ease of opening. The door consists of a matt powder-coated aluminium frame. The rear of the door is a 4 mm thick wood fibreboard panel laminated in grey (similar to RAL 7012). Available in a grooved Cimento® panel, matching the colour of the storage unit structure.
