The teak lounger from the Eidos collection, with a reclining backrest, Teflon wheels, and a removable cover mattress, combines essential design and refined materials, creating an elegant and functional piece for outdoor spaces.

Designers
Gabriele buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the faculty of design of the Milan polytechnic (2003-2010), and Oscar buratti, architect, form the architecture and design studio buratti architetti.
They design residential, commercial and industrial buildings, interventions in urban historic centres and renovations of building complexes, villas and interiors of offices, homes, shops and showrooms, with the aim of combining culture and professional specialisation, experimentation and technique, original visions and product quality.

NATURAL TEAK
These products are made of solid teak wood, coming from Burma plantations, Indonesia. The material is not treated, but its unique inner oily resin naturally improves its impermeability and resistance, even to insects and parasites. A long exposure to the weathering does not prejudice the product stability, but can cause some splits into the wood.
An adequate protection is therefore suggested. In some cases, the natural teak can stain light surfaces/fabrics it gets in touch with. We recommend the use of protective gliders and / or other protections, if required. By exposure to the air, light and weathering, its colour changes and turns into different shades of grey.

This superficial oxidation contributes, with the oil moisture, to the long lasting durability of the material itself.
