Designed by Studio Ottawa, the Nebula Wall Lamp features two rounded ceramic shapes that emit a soft, glowing light, reminiscent of the nebulae seen in the night sky.

Zurich-based Studio Ottawa was founded by Nadine Ottawa, who first earned her stripes in the hospitality industry.
Her warm, understated and very contemporary aesthetic strikes just the right balance between traditional crafts and a contemporary design language.
In recent years, the designer started experimenting with handmade ceramics. The style of her earthenware designs is in the same vein as her hospitality projects, making her collections very popular with hotels and restaurants.
Studio Ottawa is synonymous with design that blends contemporary minimalism with the cosy ambience of yesteryear. This philosophy comes to life in the Nebula lighting collection for Serax.
Like a nebula floating in the night sky, the light radiates calm and warmth, setting a new standard for contemporary ceramic lighting.

Inspired by celestial nebulae
COLLECTION
Studio Ottawa worked with clay to create an object that would accentuate the beauty of the ceramic glaze. The result of this long design process is Nebula, a collection of stylised lamps that infuse spaces with light and highlight the lamps’ refined glaze. Each lamp consists of two meticulously rounded ceramic shapes. A hushed light emanates from the two mirroring discs, reminiscent of the nebula that you sometimes see in the night-time sky.
Hence the name Nebula, a cloud of glowing stardust, for a collection that sets a new standard in lamp design, adding warmth and cosiness to any space, be it a hotel room or a home.
