Stork is almost a sculpture, a designer side table with a light, transversal character able to fit perfectly in any outdoor or indoor furnishing context.
The teak is the absolute protagonist of the collection, designed to create a three-legs support modelled as a long neck that lightly carry the top. The maximum load on the top is up to 2 kg.
DESIGNER
GORDON GUILLAUMIER
A Malta-born designer educated in Malta, Switzerland, England and Italy, where he graduated in industrial design at the Istituto Europeo di Design and obtained a master’s degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy.
In 2002 he founded Studio Gordon Guillaumier in Milan and started to design products for international companies, ranging from upholstered furniture to ceramics.
His work also includes artistic direction and interior design through an approach that combines balance with attention for visual, tactile and textural aspects.
Gordon Guillaumier’s awards include the Wallpaper Design Award 2014, an honourable mention for the XXIV Compasso d’Oro in 2016, the ADI Ceramic Design Award 2016, and a NYCxDesign Award 2019.
He lectured at Milan Polytechnic, Faculty of Industrial Design, and at Abadir Design Academy. He is part of RODA’s team for artistic direction.
